The Community Resiliency Model® (CRM) is a groundbreaking wellness initiative that teaches participants practical skills to increase personal resilience and empower communities. CRM was created by the Trauma Resource Institute in part as a response to the public health crisis of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and is easily learned and accessible regardless of age, culture, or educational level.

The two fundamental goals of CRM® are to:

  1. Help adults and children learn to track their own nervous system in order to bring the body, mind and spirit back into greater balance, and to
  2. Encourage people to pass the skills along to family, friends and their wider community.

Upon completing the two-day course participants will be able to:

  • Immediately teach the skills to peers and other community members.
  • Build resilience by learning about the impact of stress on their bodies and brains.
  • Use self-regulation skills for rapid relief of stress-related symptoms.
  • Increase a sense of control over future wellness.

When: Thursday, September 19 - 9:00 - 4:00 and Friday, September 20 from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
